This pan stands out from other cast iron pans due to how much lighter it is. In fact, it is said to be a whopping 50% lighter than traditional cast iron pans! It also has stay-cool stainless steel handles that are cool to the touch. Like other cast-iron pans, you are required to season it to obtain a non-stick surface. Designed for use on all cooktops, with a solid base that allows for exception heat transfer on induction. Transfer it straight from the cooktop to the oven (or even to an outdoor campfire).
